Ronald McDonald House Vermont is a comfortable “home-away-from-home” for families with seriously ill children receiving care at the Golisano Children’s Hospital in Burlington, Vermont.

Whether for a short stay or for weeks at a time, we provide families with a restful, convenient place to stay, home cooked meals every evening, and the caring support of our dedicated staff and volunteers.

Close to the hospital

Located less than a mile from the Golisano Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Vermont is a historic home located in Burlington, Vermont. Equipped with comfortable guest rooms, private bathrooms, a large kitchen, and plenty of space, the House serves as an essential home base for families with a child in the hospital.

Our guests arrive with so much that is unknown. We are here to provide them with support, comfortable lodgings, and nourishing meals – all at no cost.

Our Mission

Ronald McDonald House Vermont creates a community to provide families with a welcoming home, offering hope and refuge so that children can be close to their families when they need them the most.

It is our aim to be a refuge for families experiencing the stress and anguish of their loved one’s illness. Whether for a short stay or for weeks at a time, we provide families with the comforts of home as well as the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers.
